Here is a Georgian silver pair cased pocket watch in working condition… It is to be remembered the key is antique but not the correct one for the watch. The silver cases are both matching.. The outer case has slight dents and knocks as you can imagine being this old.. The push button is good and so is the spring inside the outer case.. A small crinkle at the 6 position on this outer case, hinge is good too on this outer case. The inner pocket watch case… It has a good back… The bulls eye glass is good.. A small shaft with suspension loop… The dial is cream enamel and will be a replacement as a watch with hallmarks this early would have a different dial… The hands are replacements too back in antiquity.. Hinge out the movement from the catch at the 6 position. See the matching hallmarks in the case. Then feast your eyes on this movement… Beautiful pierced – fretted balance cock and a silver regulator dial.. A DIAMOND endstone as well….. The movement is signed. The movement is a fusee verge and it has fancy baluster pillars as well. The outer case is 2 inch dia x just over 2 and half inch long to the suspension loop x 1 inch deep… It all weighs approx…… See close up pictures for more details and condition. LeCoultre High Grade Wolfs Tooth 32 J Minute Repeater Hunter Case Pocket Watch. This watch is running excellent and I have observed it for about 20 hours where it has kept accurate time. It is not signed anywhere though it is very close to the image of the LeCoultre cal 43B HC in a 2014 copy I have of the complete price guide to watches, only this one is higher grade with wolfs tooth winding, double hairspring stud screws and jeweled to the hammers with about 32 jewels total according to the image on page 518. To see it in action, please copy this link. The movement is very nice looking though there are a few blemishes as you can see. The slide activates the repeater where it sounds the hours, quarters and minutes. The double sunk dial is excellent and free from any hairlines or chips. The fancy 20 year gold filled case is almost like (new old stock) except for the fact that the cover opens a little farther than it should and the screw that holds the crown in is wrong as it is too short to hold the crown in.
