Signed Mermod & Jaccard’s St. Louis Paragon Time-Keeper on both the dial and movement, and in a Hamilton signed glass back display case, this 110 year old Hamilton pocket watch is in very nice condition throughout and the stem wind lever set 17 jewel Hamilton Model 926 movement is in good running order. However, for daily use you may want to give it a routine servicing as it’s been sitting unused for many years, and although I did give it a few drops of fresh oil, I have no idea when it was last serviced. ANTIQUE GUNMETAL CASED SWISS MADE MINUTE REPEATER POCKET WATCH RUNNING! Marked S&Co on the plate near the escape wheel. This watch winds, sets and ticks. The repeater operates correctly – albeit a bit fast. Made for Hamilton & Inches of Edinburgh. The movement with wolf’s tooth winding. The escape wheel has a cap jewel. Also marked Brevet – which I believe means Patent. The case with scratches and scuffs. The covers open and close correctly. The dial seems without damage. The lettering is worn in a few places. Diameter of the case is about 54.15mm. I believe the ebauche (raw movement) perhaps made by LeCoultre. The layout is similar to this one: LeCoultre Minute Repeater.
