Pocket Watch Case

Nice antique pocket verge fusee watch from very beginning of XIX century. The back cover is decorated with beautiful enamel miniature with galant scene. The enamel is high quality one, most probably Geneva school. Case is made of gilt brass, rim is coin-grooved. Gilt is somewhere worn, and restored. Enamel has minor flakes to the edges, I cannot see any restoration. Painting seems to be without damages. Dust cover is missing locking pin. The dial seems to be in nice condition with tiny defects to edges. Movement is in running condition, ticks in every position, but I don’t guarantee that it keeps time. The repetition strikes hours with one gong, and quarters with other gong of other tonality. Please look video below the photos. Diameter is 55mm, height without bow is 73mm, weight is 132 grams.. Here is a clean SOLID 14k Gold Size 0 American Waltham Hunter’s Case Seaside pocket watch that is 115 years old!!! Looks great for being this old. Has a very ornately decorated front & back lids. Really is a crisp sharp case. Because it is gold there are a few dings that really don’t show on the outside but you can see them on the inside of the lids. The hinges are good. This watch measures 34.0 mm across the case not including the ornate bow and crown. Weights 31.0 grams including the movement. This watch is stem wound and stem set and is running but I have no service records to offer. It has a Seaside 15 jewel movement per the serial # 10,450,101. Also known as a Model 1891. Serial # dates this Waltham watch to 1901. Again it is really hard to believe this watch is well over 100 years old. The SIGNED dial is clean. Has blued hands and a red 5 minute outer chapter ring. The second hand looks like it was replaced as it does not match the hour and minute hands. Again this solid gold Waltham watch is running. I sell all my watches as-is and as found. It has a key wind key set movement with serial number 651421, dates this watch to 1872. It will not run, looks like it is over banked. Watch is from private collection where it was kept in the vault for dozens of years. Dial is glass enameled single sunk. With several hairlines, well shown on the photos. Hands are in good shape. Glass crystal is in excellent shape. What a beautiful silver case. It is very large and in excellent condition. Spring for the front cover appears to be missing or broken.
