Rare Amazing Hamilton 21 Jewel 16 size model 971 Display case pocket watch. Outstanding beautiful White porcelain dial with bold black numbers and large brilliant Blue colored hands. The dial has only a few extremely faint spider lines. The front and rear covers. Snap on and off nicely. Both front and rear glass crystals are near spotless. The movement is gleaming and super clean in Amazing condition. The Hamilton 21 jewel movement serial number 315088 dates to 1905. The 16 size 3/4 plate Rare model 971 Rail Road Grade Double Roller adjusted to (5) Positions has super Brilliant Raised Gold Jeweled settings and Gold train. The movement also has a beautifully unusual demaskeening and near spotless winding wheels. The pendant set Pocket watch winds, sets and runs outstanding with all pivots lightly oiled and the balance with beautiful super motion, which has been keeping outstanding time. Note all of my pocket watches have been personally serviced and restored to there best working order according to there age and condition. I have personally enjoyed carrying this watch. The outstanding condition display case is marked “Hamilton” on both front and rear covers. Beautiful Mint Condition solid and super clean English made by John Pearson of Louth, Serial no. 5771 Silver pair cased verge fusee. Sharp Solid sterling silver case is Silver hall marked (A) of London assay. Beautiful near mint condition, off white colored porcelain dial with nice Bold Roman numerals and beautiful matching solid Gold colored hands. Absolutely spotless high domed crystal. All case covers open, close and fit perfect together with nice and tight hinges. Key wind and key set pocket watch runs full length of chain. Balance has an unbelievably outstanding motion. The balance bridge is beautiful With its unique face and ornate scroll work. The movement is super clean (almost pristine) with bright blue screws and uniquely shaped push arrow index for regulating. The watch measures approx. 57mm excluding the bow. Pocket watch runs outstanding and keeps great fusee time, last checked about +/- 1 or 2 minutes within approx. 24 hour period hanging from a hook in the vertical position…….. But cannot guarantee accuracy upon sale. These watches are verge type. Meant to keep time, not perfect time 180 years ago. Also special care must be taken not to overwind these old museum pieces and always remember to wind counter clockwise. Inside the case is an old watch makers paper from New Jersey, U.
