Presumed that the movement and case are NOT original to each other, this is how I received the watch from the estate. The movement NEEDS REPAIR to the winding and setting mechanism. Condition with 2 hinged rear covers and a’snap’ front bezel. There are a few small dents and visible scratches to the rear cover and. 2 very slight vertical creases to the inside of the dust cover, directly under the 2 lines of engraving (which are on the opposite side of the cover). The silvered dial is mounted to the movement with 2 small screws located at the 3 and 9 o’clock positions. Numerals and chapter ring appear to be black when viewed straight on; but when looking at an angle in a bright light it is apparent that. Only the 5 minute markers and the main body of the numbers is black and that the thin fancy swirls on the numbers and the rest of the chapter. There are a few scratches and small imperfections to the dial. The blued steel hands are in good condition, with a small. Loss of bluing to the minute hand. The watch is stem wind and stem set.
