THANK YOU for considering our nearly wear-free condition Illinois First Model “Bunn Special Model” 16 size, open face, Wadsworth 10K yellow gold fill, slot right, screw-back-and-bezel, fancy dress or more likely railroad case! Here’s Illinois’ First Model Bunn Special case, with the wide, smooth and mirrory back, the vivid heavy milling engraved pattern at the edges, a thick neck, wide, wind-able crown, and distinctively designed layer-cake bow! This much sought after and highly prized, high-value case is in fully serviceable condition. I have restored and detailed this case right down to the threads and the crystal ledge so you get the best looking and working case possible! The back and bezel thread up easily, screw on and off smoothly, and both seat tight. The matching original crown’s fluting is super sharp and crisp still for a tight, sure grip, and it turns freely but, by design, does not extract, so only a lever-set e. Bunn Special movement will work inside. The bow is also its correct layer-cake matching original, shows very faint interior brass only but no damage, and swings loose. The crystal is missing and will need to be replaced. This fine case fits all standard-featured lever-set-ONLY movements. The case does show exceptionally minimal wear, including nothing beyond superficial scratches, no marrings, no doodlings, no other damage, zero brass even on the exposed edge of the back (the usual suspect area), and certifiably no dents, dings, dimples or depressions.
