THANK YOU for considering our very crisp and sharp, mirror-image back condition Illinois First Model “Bunn Special Model” 16 size, open face, Wadsworth 14K white gold fill, slot right, screw-back-and-bezel, fancy dress or more likely railroad case! Here’s Illinois’ famed First Model in WGF, with the smooth back framed by fancy interlinked engraving patterns, a thick neck, wide, wind-able crown, and distinctively designed layer-cake bow! This much sought after case is in fully serviceable condition. I have restored and detailed this case right down to the threads so you get the best looking and working case possible! The back and bezel thread up easily, screw on and off smoothly, and both seat tight. The matching original crown’s fluting is practically like-new for a tight, sure grip, and it turns freely but, by design, does not extract, so only a lever-set e. Bunn Special movement will work inside. The bow is also its correct original layer-cake design, shows zero brass or damage, and swings loose. The crystal is a thick beveled mineral glass model and super clear with some small chips at the edges. This fine case fits all standard-featured lever-set-ONLY movements. The case does show exceptionally minimal wear, including light, very faint signs of any carrying wear beyond superficial scratching, zero marrings or doodlings, zero brass anywhere on the scene whatsoever, and certifiably no dents, dings, dimples or depressions.
