Up for sale is a beautiful and all original 16s Elgin Father Time, 21 jewels high grade Rail Road pocket watch. This watch was made in 1920. This watch runs very good and keeps very good time. This watch has a beautiful movement! Movement : The watch is in very good running condition and it keeps very good time. The movement is all original. The movement has 21 jewels, a lever set, adjusted to 5 positions, gold jewel setting, gold balance weights, Gold center wheel, steel escapement, and a high grade regulator. This movement has all matching serial number and it is all original. Dial : The original Elgin Monty double sunk dial is in good condition. The dial has about 3-4 hairlines and a tiny flake at the center hole. Case : The original Security Rail Road model 10k gold filled case is in good condition. The case shows light normal pocket wear but it still looks beautiful. The bezel and back cover screws off and the dust cover pops off. This watch is ready to display or carry! Antique Quarter Repeater Gold Filled Hunting Case Pocket Watch Favre Leube. This large 57mm pocket watch is running excellent and keeping time for about 5 hours now. I believe the maker to be Favre-Leube though it is not signed. The tones are magnificent! 2 hammers striking hours and quarters. It strikes the correct hour though it strikes for 3/4 after each hour every time no matter where the minute hand is so it does need attention. The case has regular wear with no damage.
